Annual report of the Helpdesk for Professionals 2024
The FPS Public Health supports professional buyers, sellers and users of biocides through its helpdesk for professionals. The annual report allows the evaluation and improvement of the helpdesk performance based on figures and graphs.
In 2024, the helpdesk registered 2.852 questions, for which 445 in the peak month of February. A majority (67%) of the registered questions concerned biocides. The remaining questions concerned fluorine (16%), products (8%), chemicals (7%) and CLP (2%).
An important aspect of the evaluation is the response time: 59% of the questions were answered within one day and 87% within five days. Most questions were handled by the service's experts. Graphs and further details are available in the annual report.
