Annual report 2025 of the biocides helpdesk for professionals

The FPS Public Health supports professional sellers, buyers and users of biocides through its helpdesk for professionals. The annual report allows the evaluation and improvement of the helpdesk performance based on figures and graphs.

In 2025, the helpdesk registered 2,816 questions, including 348 in the peak month of January. A majority (68%) of the registered questions concerned biocides. The remaining questions concerned ozone & fluorinated gases (18%), products (6%), chemical substances (5%) and CLP (2%).

An important aspect of the evaluation is the response time: 59% of the questions were answered within one day and 87% were resolved within five days. Graphs and further details are available in the annual report.
